In September 2014, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an ambitious program “Make in India” to attract FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in 25 manufacturing sectors with the clear aim to make India the manufacturing hub of Asia, or even : the world. Between September 2014 and August 2015 the Indian Government received international proposals, worth 17 billion USD. Is there a place for Flanders in this “Make in India”? Or should we concentrate on “Make in Flanders”?
